The WAL suite is primarily intended for customers seeking a information kiosk mode web and local content launcher. The interface is absolutely minimalistic, with quick-select navigation buttons giving access only to select resourses, giving administrator of the application the control of what quick-link items (buttons etc.) are available, and what the descriptons of those may be. The following applicaton examples can serve as illustrations of possible uses
Suggested applications of the planned FREE micraWAL :
- Quick-select launch of select web pages on iPads with micraWAL installed for tourist information boots, with menu items named e.g. Book a tourist guide, Historic tourist routes, Accomodation.
- Families actively limiting what their children are allowed to start of web pages on the Internet from their iPads/iPhones with micraWAL installed.
- Availability will in be decided according to user demand.
Possible ManagdWALplus (and ManagdWAL) uses:
- Laboratories with a ban on personal mobile and computer access, offering iPads to give access to always updated security data sheets, security protection sheets etc., with remote control of quick-select buttons, anonymous usage statistics logging on remote server etc.
- Public services offering customers quick access to locally adapted remotely administered select resources such as self registration and services.
The WAL suite is therefore suited for individuals, families, organisations, schools, businesses and enterprises looking for a no-frills super easy to use web, app and content presenter, limiting the browsing start point to what the parent or administrator wants the user to have access to.
The managed versions ManagdWAL and ManagdWALplus support remote mangement as well, easily scaling our solution to the biggest enerprises, building on existing infrastructure. Our application laucher suite was launched in 2020, supporting the Apple (R) iOS (R) platform on the user side with the app ManagdWALplus. micraWAL and ManagdWAL are scheduled for release in 2022, pending sufficient public interest.
