Enforcing privacy on behalf of your end-user offerings
Your privacy matters!
There are perspectives on privacy in regard to Royal Cloud Solutions products: Us, caring for your privacy, and the privacy as provided by integrators and other vendors using our products, and hence in charge of securing the privacy of end customers and other users.
Royal Cloud Solutions´ own privacy adherence
We are committed to operating in accordance with all privacy laws and regulations, in all markets, including the GDPR in Europe which is our home market, as well as helping you better understand and enforce your own rights. Our main policy is to give you userfriendly and no-frills products and services, and with a privacy policy in the same spirit.
Our products will always help you do the same – make sure that all privacy regulations and laws are adhered to, including those of our partners such as Apple Inc.
Royal Cloud Solutions stores and processes only the bare necessesary data you provide, and optionally data in conjunction to your relation with us, such as:
- Contents provided by you, such as suggestions for improvements. Please do not store any personal information in your descriptions of product improvement suggestions. If you do, please bear in mind that although we will try to remove such embedded identities, this will ultimately be your own responsibility.
- Contact information provided by you, such as necessary customer information; name, phone number email address and so on, if explicitly provided for such purposes by you.
You are entitled at any time to request information about your data stored by RoyalCloudSolutions. Note that anonymized communications is anonymous and not connected to you, and will therefore not be affected by privacy regulations. Please allow three weeks of processing, if you request information about data stored in relation to you. If data relating to you is found, you may also request that data related to you shall be deleted or corrected. Please allow (another) three weeks of processing in such cases.
We do not share or sell information about you to other companies. Period. This is not our business. If Royal Cloud Solutions becomes a part of a merger or aquisition in the future, your data will be safeguarded in accordance with our current privacy rules, and of course protected by the law and regulations as stated above. We will do what lies within our power to inform you before any such organisational changes, and you may of course request deletion or correction of your data if so should happen.
Offering privacy as a vendor providing ManagdWALplus and other Royal Cloud Solutions products
ManagdWALplus is adhering firmly to Apple Inc.´s strict rules regarding informing the end-user of functions that may gather information about user behaviour. Most information kiosk uses of ManagdWALplus are non-personal, but even so a message is shown when the app is launched if heartbeats are turned on, with a message as defined by you as a vendor. This may be localized, in one or more languages, informing the end-user about what data are collected and transferred such as anonymous usage statistics. Please refer to the relevant privacy related configuration items.
